Probably everyone who has looked for ways to make money using internet marketing has been scammed. I was one of them. Smooth talkers (writers) promising lots of cash and very little effort lured me in. It becomes so overwhelming when you are lead so many different ways, it's easy to stop trusting anyone. So, are there legitimate internet marketing strategies out there? Yes. If you know what to look for.
I was in search of a way to internet market just a few months ago. When I clicked on one that intrigued me, I was innocently routed to competitors claiming it to be a scam, or dozens of other opportunities guaranteeing theirs would work. Even searching for third pary reviews only brought me to other companies disguised as reviewers.
I fell for about 3 of these Ill teach you how to get rich products before giving up. But not before wasting about $300 on products that werent really products at all but merely e-books trying to up sell you to the next product that would really get you the results you were looking for. I was disgusted.with humanity, and myself. How could I have been so naive?
Honestly, I think it was only through the grace of God that I finally found something legitimate. My anger and embarrassment have led me to at least attempt to save someone else some money and frustration. Here are the things I would look for after learning the hard way.
1-If you can't get in touch with a real person through email or phone, don't invest. A legitimate internet business still has a person behind it. If they are not trying to rip you off, they would probably LOVE to talk to you before expecting you to pay them.
2-If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. No one without experience gets rich in weeks on the internet! And no one gets rich on the internet without investing some time and/or money.
3- If there is no way to actually get a third party review, there is probably a reason for that.
4- A lot of online jobs and new-age products probably work, but if youve never done this before, are you going to be left in the dark? I dont want to think about all of the times I signed up in some MLM and never heard from my sponsor again.
5-Money back guarantees can be deceiving. Everything I tried was guaranteed. However, I only actually got my money back on one product. Internet marketing scammers are clever about not letting you see the terms and conditions of the money back guarantee until youve spent the money. Or, they have some fine print that eliminates nearly everyone. For instanceafter youve paid, it states that to get your money back you have to send in checks to prove you tried it. Hello! If it doesnt work, there are no checks.
6- Dont underestimate that feeling in your gut, or your heart. If it doesnt feel right, there is usually a reason. Why do we stop trusting that little voice in our head?
Anyway, there is a lot of money to be made through internet marketing. And if you are careful, you can be on the receiving end, rather than in debt to someone else. Just do your due diligence. From one entrepreneur to another, I wish you abundance in this internet marketing age! - 20765
